The Lemon Essentials

Your driver meets you at Accra Kotoka International Airport. Enjoy a scenic 3-hour transfer to Elmina, passing through fishing villages along the coast. Check in at Lemon Beach Resort, freshen up, and join us for a welcome cocktail. Spend the evening at the pool or exploring the resort grounds.

After breakfast, trip to Elmina Castle for a detailed guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn the full history of the Gold Coast, the trans-Atlantic slave trade, and the Door of No Return. Lunch at Anomansa Restaurant at the foot of the castle. After lunch, join a guided tour of the Elmina fish market — one of the busiest in West Africa — and watch the daily catch being brought ashore. Return to Lemoin Beach for cold drinks, and the sound of the Atlantic around the pool..

Morning: Visiting one of our local schools in Elmina, then Batique workshop where you can make your own cloth or to go for a local cooking lesson close to the resort and learn to prepare Ghanaian dishes In the evening we will go with you for a town tour, visiting historical places of our town and taking a cold drinks in the local restaurants

A full day of nature and relaxation. Morning: drive to Kakum National Park for the famous canopy walk — a 350-metre wooden walkway suspended 40 metres above the rainforest floor with stunning views of the tropical canopy. On the way back, visiting Cape Coast Castle or visiting virtual reality centre in Cape Coast, lunch at Lemon Lounge restaurant in Cape Coast and return to the resort for a relaxing afternoon — enjoy a massage on the rocks, float in the pool, or simply unwind on the beach with a book.

A leisurely morning at the resort. Enjoy breakfast, then choose how to spend your final hours — a last swim in the pool, or simply relax on the beach. Check out and transfer back to Accra Kotoka International Airport (or extend your stay).
